Kickstarter is one of the best funding place, where talented, young artists and entrepreneurs who are looking for funding to bring their creative projects to life. Kickstarter is considered as the world's  
largest funding platform for brand-new projects.

Foldit will collect data from multiplayer online game to predict protein structures, which are known to be very useful to cure diseases. Also, based on the data, Foldit is able to figure out the humans' pattern-recognition and puzzle-solving abilities. Ideally, Foldit believes that they can teach human strategies to computers and fold proteins faster than ever.

  1. I love crowd sourcing. Makes u realize how much power one person really has.
    There's another thing called folding@home. Which makes use of idle time on personal computers to do protein folding research. Really cool stuff.
